Terms of Engagement

 

The terms are a little different depending who you are and what your company setup might be.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales insist that we provide you with details of our “terms of engagement”. These, inevitably, are full of legal jargon.

​

We used to include links to our standard terms here but, after only a handful of clicks in several years, we decided it perhaps wasn’t the most popular section on the website. So, instead, we thought we’d summarise it as follows:

“Put simply, the terms are a promise. If you tell us everything you should, at the right time, then we will do everything we should, at the right time”.149 characters. Almost short enough for a tweet.

One other point to draw your attention to is the rules about Money Laundering. It explains why we have to see proof of ID and address before we can act.
